Every piece of art has a story and thats just one more reason I love my art! Wen I went to buy flowers at my local HEB I picked out a selection of lovely, bright and cheerful sunflowers and a bunch  of vibrant carnations- because I LOVE the challenge of painting them to be recognizable yet expressive  ( lol)  and it was hard to pass up a dramatic addition of a lovely stem of beautiful deep purple statice....oh and those peonies!!! Had to get those. But when I went to talk to my favorite florist Susan at the counter to say hello and how lovely the floral department was looking I saw a little red daisy-looking flower in the trash, I had to reach down and "save" it ---yes I have a flower problem lol...anyway I said why is this in the trash it has some color left enough to paint...so she gave it to e and I HAD to add it to this bouquet! Notice the little red daisy peeking out to leave a memory.
