I painted this as a sample for my June Lone Star Living Bouquet class and sold it the day it was painted to a dear friend in Minnesota! I am feeling extra inspired because I jus returned from my Boston trip and seeing my boys and their wives. While there I twice visited the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the 5th largest Fine Art Museum on the United States and absorbed artwork of the master artists like a sponge, studying brushstrokes and color combinations and techniques.

My goal is to try and paint my first impressions and don't get too detailed. I want my values and cold to come through as fresh and simplified and will be constantly working on this.
